Dubai's Event and social gathering rules have been updated

There has also been some news for business events, weddings, and social gatherings in Dubai as Dubai prepares for its spectacular weather to return by mid-October.

Let’s see what’s in for us for the events:

Banquet parties and Gala dinners at hotels

- Minimum capacity is 2m, and there are at least four people per square meter gross.

- The minimum distance between two tables at a banquet-style setup is 2 meters if they are separated by physical dividers. The maximum number of people per table is 10, with a minimum of 2 meters between each table should they be separated by physical barriers. Members of the same group cannot be seated together, but there must be at least two empty seats

- Cocktail tables can accommodate up to two people per table.

- Sterilization and sanitizers are provided at all times and in all places.

Small weddings and other family occasions

- Both families' first degree members should not exceed ten people.

- Sanitizers should be available at events in abundance.

Entertainment

- Performers can only remove their masks during performances if they maintain a minimum of 4m physical distance between themselves and the audience.
